Little Royal Forest by Kimberly Belsole Design Studio LLC specializes in designing nurseries, bedrooms, playrooms, learning & social rooms for all ages - infant, child, preteen, teen, and young adult. We aspire to create functional spaces that can transition with your child as they grow, discover and explore the world around them.

OUR PROCESS

Dream.

We always start our process with a daydream. Go back to your childhood- what did you dream endlessly about? Where did your imagination escape to? What books captivated you? What far-off destinations called you? What would hold your attention like nothing else mattered in the world? These memories, sentiments and wonder all occurred in our safest of spaces- our room, our home, our playroom or our own backyard. We want to bring that sense of wonderment and awe into all the spaces we create. We get to know you and your child and where those dreams lead. Those dreams become our direction...

• Begin with 1 hour Design Consultation (In-person or virtual)

• Receive a Proposal for Services

• Review of Contract of Services & Project Budget

• Build an Inspiration Board

Explore.

Once inspired, we start by assembling key foundational furniture, timeless colors, and essential lighting. Next we curate transitional textiles, window treatments and rugs that bring warmth, texture and patterns to the space. Lastly, we layer in unique and affordable artwork & decor that can be edited as your child grows to create fresh, fun and inspiring spaces without compromising style.

Once you are part of the Little Royal Forest family, we are here to help through all stages of your child’s life. Additional editing services are available to help make the transition between ages effortless and affordable. Given our designs on rooted in foundational timeless & neutral furnishings and elements, most transitional editing services are minimal. We reassess the transitional elements of the space and typically refresh walls, textiles, artwork and decor to best illustrate the new part of their life journey.
